Where to go with kids...

Hi All

Am planning to go to Portugal in early July with my two boys who are 6 years old and my youngest who will be 8 months old then, also going to take the mother in law as my hubby has to work.

Anyway, have been to Praia Do Vau, the Terracos Do Vau Apts a good 4 years ago now and we loved it, was right on top of the beach and hotel was really clean. Was thinking of going back there but the only thing that is putting me off is it was about an hour and a bit journey from the airport in the coach and i remember my eldest was about 2 and gets really bad travel sickness especially on windy roads and he threw up everywhere, so am thinking that may happen again and having to care for him and my 8 month old will be a bit of a nightmare!

So was wondering can anyone recommend another resort/part of Portugal that is great for the kids, a stones throw from the beach and some nice bars/restaurants withing walking distance?
