| Has anyone ever stayed at the Suncrest in Qwara, Malta? It is supposed to be a 4* hotel with load going on. We leave next Tuesday and I should have aksed before I booked really. I would be grateful if anyone has any news on this hotel.

| Oh dear, it sounds as if it was great in 2003 and has rapidly gone down hill. It's too late to change hotels now as we go the early hours of Tuesday next week.
Thanks for the info, perhaps I would have been better off not knowing.

| Well we have just returned from the Suncrest in Malta and we had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect, the people friendly and the staff very helpful.
I have to say that all the main rooms, pool area and restaurant you could not fault. We had a marvelous sea view but the bathroom needed re-furbishing and it needed double glazing because of noise from the road at night, but apart from that it was a lovely holiday and we would definitley go again.
There were 6 lifts and you did have to wait an awful long time to get up to the higher floors.
In their defence the hotel is being re-vamped from the 7th floor down so soon it will deserve it's 4 star status again.
