Hi Phil,

I've just posted a thread on here asking for any info on Grecotel Rhodos Royal in Kalithea. Would be grateful if you have any info especially regarding the food and kids facilities.

We are looking to go to Rhodes - Thalos during Half Term Week (22-29OCT). We are currently considering an all-inclusive deal at the Doreta Hotel in Thalos.

We are looking for:

Somewhere that will keep kids entertained (2 boys aged 6 & 2 yrs), not too quiet but not too lively either and with a good beach.

Questions:

Anyone got any knowledge of the Resort area?
Anyone got any experience of the Hotel?
Is this a good time of year to visit weather wise?

Many thanks.

Hi Phil - I'm coming to Ixia, Rhodes next month, for two weeks and wondered if you could give me some advice please? I've recently got into cycling and am doing a 170 mile sponsored ride in Septemeber, so I'm keen to keep cycling while on holiday. Have you any idea where I could hire a cycle? Ideally, a road racing cycle but, if not, at least something with proper gears would do. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve.

Hi Phil,

I hope you are going to be my saviour and answer my question with a positive!!!

We are wanting to book the Summer Memories Apts in Pefkos but one of our party struggles walking especially up hills. Whilst I know a lot of the surrounding area is hilly we were told by a holiday rep, whilst on holiday in Stoupa, that she would highly recommend Pefkos as the main town, square and beach area are all totally flat. Please could you confirm as we have had very conflicting reports.

Many thanks.

Hi Phil,

I'm looking at going to Pefkos as teh pictures look beautiful.

I'm concerned it may be too quiet as ideally want to be able to walk to a lively town at night and relax and play pool during the day but not in a major a clubbers resort. please can you let me know where in your opinion is the bestplace to go for midway between quiet and crazy!

any help appreciated

Thank you
Dee
