Hi there
We were in Rhodes last October and are going back again on the 1st this year for 2 weeks. We found the weather to be on average about 27 C most days and it was great for us as any hotter wouldn't have suited us. As for things open apart from a few bars in Faliraki starting to close down (which didn't fuss us) everything else was open and you won't have a problem. Rhodes is a lovely island and I'm sure you'll enjoy it........

Yep: Youll find it quiet. But there are several tavernas still open and the weather can be windy and wet, or sunny and warm. It's the chance you take.

Hi, I'm going to Lardos in October too and chose it because i thought the weather would be nice and warm. Was thinking of Portugal but thought it would be raining like in UK at the moment. Perhaps we'll bump into one another. Lardos doesn't sound thatt big but Lindos and Pefkos are not far away. Stayed at Pefkos twice and had a good time on both occasions. Lindos is also very nice. People friendly. Enjoy your hols, i know i will.

Read some reviews on the web and someone went to Lardos October 2007 and said it was 28. That's hot enough for me in October.

Oh no panic on:-(
We have booked our wedding at the Atrium Palace on the 27th october 2009 and was told things would be open until the end of that week. After reading these reviews I am panicing as we have 50 guests coming out their for their weeks holiday and now it seems there will be very little for them to do and we might have as much rain as if we had decided to do it in england in july. Anyone have any ideas of things we can recommend for our guests to do that will still be open.
Thanks in advance
