Postby sarahb on Tue Jan 04, 2005 11:13 pm

Hi

I wonder if anyone can give me any help - just booked a holiday to teh Bouganville Hotel in Sa Coma - whats it like? the brochure looks nice and the travel agent recommended it.

When we go our baby will be 9 months old - do the local shops sell branded baby foods?

Thanks for any help you can give me

Sarah

Hi I Went To The Bouganvilla Last June For 10 Days Lovely Hotel Very Very Busy Even At That Time Of Year. But I Would Advise You To Take Your Own Food As Sa Coma Is A Very Small Place With Limited Shops On Offer. The Hotel Is A Good 1/2 An Hour Walk Away From The Beach But It Does Have A Bus Train To Take You There If You Dont Want To Walk I Advise You To Take The Train Bus. Oh I Forgot They Do Have A Caprabbo Supermarket Which Is Quite Big Sells A Bit Of Everything They Did Sell Baby Stuff But If Your Child Only Likes Certain Brands Of Food I Would Take My Own. Hope You Enjoy Your Holiday At The Bouganvilla.

Bouganville Hotel - Sa Coma

Hi Sarah! My husband and I have had several holidays at the Boogie (as its called by the reps) and have always enjoyed the holidays. There are all the usual facilities that you would expect at a hotel resort including a pool side first aid centre with a qualified nurse on hand. There are two beautiful large size swimming pools with safe areas available. The amusement/entertainment area is fully covered so if you have a dull or rainy day it will not spoil your entertainment.
The nearby shops in Sa Coma have all the requirements you would need for your baby with plenty of choice. The local town is very lively and would take about twenty minutes to walk to it. However there is a hotel courtesy train during the day to take and fetch you back. The hotel itself is very lively during the holiday season as you would expect from a family hotel. All in all I'm certain that you will have a really enjoyable holiday as we always have. Regards Sheila Taylor (Worcester)
