| I am due to go here in July and have been advised there is building work going on has any body been there recently and can advise me how bad it is

| yes i belive there is some building work
i have heard from a couple of people that its the building next door and its internal. have u been updated on the building work?

That would be great if you could let me know what its like hopefully its not to bad was advised that building work to be completed by 01.05.07 and that it would just be internal work after that time

| I'm due to go on the 07/06/07 with my partner and 4 children.
I haven't heard of any building work going on, who told you ???, the travel agent.
I'm already having some doubts about this place and wonder whether we've made the right choice, to have building work going on as well........

| I'm heading out there on the 28th & have been contacted by Eclipse to advise of the building work next door. They have assured me it should have no bearing on our holiday....I live in hope :) . It certailnly won't ruin our Holiday .
I'll post an update once I'm out there to this forum......probably be the 2 or 3rd before I do that though .

| From what I have been told it is only inside work to be done now all building of the outside is complete.
Only one side of Pegasos Palace hotel is in view with the new building.
Looking forward to your information boogbhoy!
We don't go till early October but got a good deal for 5 adults 3 children, one family has a jacuzzi suite and one family has a kids den.

Well Chris they wrote to me (first Choice) and said a 500 bedroom hotel has been constructed during the winter with outside work due to be completed by 01.05.07 and after that time it would be just internal work when i contacted my local shop they said as far as they know work had been completed and under the trading standards they would have to advise you. I was offered the chance to change my holiday at my cost !

| hi there ive just cancelled this resort as its a 1100 room hotel thats being built right next door and the building work is not due to finish untill jan 2008 i have photos of the work to judge your self.

| Hi All
We are due to go in a weeks time so will tell you all how the works going.
As for cancelling a holiday, it wont make us change our mind the price they gave it away to us.
I doubt any resort in any country wont be having some building work and its rare that they cause problems.
Any rooms close to the building work are normally empty during the day so can't seeing it effecting anyones holiday.
As for worries over dust etc, from my experience well last visit to turkey (10 yrs ago) the people were always damping down dust and cleaning places so I doubt this resort will be any different, also reviews from last year praise cleaning staff who work 24/7 it seem too keep property clean.
My advice is just go and enjoy thats what we do after all its meeant to be a holiday not something to worry over every detail.
