| Hi, Went to holiday village Turkey last year. Really nice hotel, friendly staff, food nice and pool area fantastic. Only problem was that there is nothing around only another hotel and Turtles lay their eggs on the beach so is quiet. Take British money with you as the hotel has a few shops and seams to prefere pounds than Turkish money. There are trips available but didnt go on any. Hope this helps you......

| Hi.
We went for two weeks mid may...got back last week.
We only did one trip that cost us 37 quid for two adults and two kids. it was the mud baths trip with Sarigerme tours. Brilliant day out. Wont meed much money for it.
We paid for the full turkish bath treatment in the complex spa.
Other than that and a few bits and bobs from the local town we didnt really spend anything.
Take english money with you....works out cheaper and everywhere excepts it.

| We have just returned from Turkey. Had a great time. We spent money on a pack of cigarettes and a newspaper, about £6.00 a day. If you are a smoker buy them on the plane £19.00 for 200. £28.00 for 400.
Played bingo a couple of nights, 3 lira a ticket, must pay in lira though. There is also the magic envelope game, again 3 lira. Well worth the effort when you can win £100 +!!!
We didn't go on any trips so can't comment there.
We bought the kids an inflatable, £10.00 each.
You can but ice-creams and crisps. 'Twister' lollies were 90p and small bag of crisps the same.
There are shops. Bought 5 snide mens t-shirts for £20!! They look the part!
Handbags and purses £18.00 for 3.
There is also a spa, didn't use that either but around £30.00 - £50.00 depending on treatment.
Swims kids is £30.00, soccer £58.00. There are a couple of things on at the kids clubs that you pay for. Only about £3.50 though.
Had a rubbish flight time home (5.50am) so had to book a late check out room. £44.00 til 6pm, £54.00 til 9pm or £64.00 til midnight.
You also need you visa money of £10.00 per person on arrival at the airport.
Hope this helps! Have a good time.

| Hi
We got back on Friday, had a great time. We spent, aprx £700 over two weeks... (including airport etc) some days we spent nothing! We did one trip, the mud baths from Sarigerme Tours - £45 for 2 adults and three kids.
i imagine you could spend a lot less, or indeed more than this depending on what you buy and do when you are out there.
Other posts above give good break down in individual costs... just thought I would give you a straight answer on total spend though :o)
Dont be too put off by some comments on prices on resort - we where actually surprised by how cheap some things where - for example, if you dont want to que for free ice cream, you can buy it from the shop near snack bar for £1 or so
Have a great holiday.

| Hi
I have read your posting regarding the Holiday Village in Turkey experiance. I returned from this holiday with salmonella and have been ill for weeks. Did the reps comment on the amount of sickness and gastric complaints whilst you were there?
With thanks
