Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations for sites with static caravans in the Scottish Highlands?

We're planning a trip there next year.

Static caravans at the following parks are all in good condition and located close to lots of interesting places to visit and walk.

Inveraray - Argyll Caravan Park
Oban - Tralee Bay
Lossiemouth - Silver Sands

Not sure if they will be in the location you are looking for since all 3 are on the coast.

The River Tilt Park at Blair Atholl is worth a look, we stayed there last week in our motorhome, there were nice statics and log cabin types over looking the river, the area is so pretty with a golf course next door and a superb restaurant and pool etc. on site.

Can I suggest Parkdean Holidays (disclaimer - I do a bit of work for them on the Internet side of things)- they have several static caravan sites in Scotland. Their Tummel Valley site is in the highlands and judging from the reviews I've just read it's pretty decent (though of course there were some complaints but these seem circumstantial and not the norm):

(The rest of their Scottish sites are all coastal.)

Thanks for all the info ladies and gentlemen.

We decided to book the Parkdean Nairn Lochloy Park, as we've got a good deal for a week in August. We'll let you know how it goes.

The main factor was being close to the Moray Firth - my daughter loves Dolphins!

Has anyone visited this park? I've read some quite nice reviews of it.
