by i live in sharm and love it and i met many friends before here and from my experience here i can give u some good points :
*Weather : in summer very hot between 35c to 39c

and when it hot u can enjoy the the beacha nd sunbath and on evening dont worry it will b nice weather
*Shopping : u can go to old market it is cheap shops,bazars,restaurants and u can find most what u want in good prices but ask and compare prices before buy,,also in neama bay shopping malls but expensive as to rent place in neama is very expensive.
*Visa :
inside sinai no visa needed but if u'll go to cairo or luxor u need visa from airport 15$

*Trips and Excursions :
in sharm u can do more excursions which u cant do it in other places else and u'll enjoy and in sharm many local companies which u can trust but in hotels very expensive and take care of people on beach or small shops in street
-st cathrine monastery and sinai mountain trip on lately time and back on afternoon second day u'll enjoy climp mountain and see sunshine.
-quad bike for 2 hours in desert and enjoy seeing sunset.
-ras muhammad by boat and do snorkeling there.
-ras muhammad by jeep and u can enjoy see this national park.
-bedouin dinner and ride camel and enjoy bedouin tea and dance with them between light mountain by candles.
-colored canyoun and abu galum u can enjoy colors landscapes which is 250m below sea level and in abu galum u can snorkeling and ride camel.
-alf leila we leila mall which u can enjoy egyptian arts and belly dance.
-cairo trip by plane or bus u can see pyramids+egyptian museum+launch on luxury boat on nile+shopping in khan elkhalili bazar.
-luxor trip by plane see all colorful tomps of the pharos and visit karnak and luxor temples.
-tiran island which u can enjoy dive or snorkeling there.
*Sharm areas and hotels:
-neama baysure is the most beautiful place and beaches the best in neama bay too and u can enjoy cafes,restaurants,clubs .
-ras um elsid good headland area good fro relaxing and snorkeling u can enjoy seeing corals too.
-sharks bay has long coast and beautiful beaches and this area for hotels only.
-nabq has sandy beautiful beaches and long coast of beaches and it has protected area too and u can enjoy relaxing.
*Nightlife :
i like dance too

in neama bay u can enjoy pasha,hard rock,salsa,black house
also there is pasha party in mountain called echo temp
in ras umelsdi there is elfanar club,alf leila we leila,castylo (italian music).
*Restaurants :

*Safety :
egypt very safe to u all specially in sharm and u can see police every where and our goverment does many intrnational conferences in sharm and unisco called it city of beauty and peace and here no hassle and sharm is good resort and most guests are europeans and im sure all of u'll feel u between ur friends.
*Money :
better for u to change ur money from banks or exchange offies in neama bay for high rate and safety also duty free
but other places or in hotel will not give u good price
and better to deal here in egyptian pound on cafes,restaurants and etc.,
