Dangerous fish or scorpions?

OK this probably sounds funny, but i'm nervous about the fish!!! I've read great reviews about diving & snorkeling both of which i have done in different locations but it was the review telling me that the fish in shallow water bite and sting and there are hundreds nipping at ure feet YUCK/HORROR. Can anyone put my mind at rest and tell me is this true? Oh yeah are there many scorpions my hubby wants to know? Thanks

Have a read of this thread samper. Not sure about the scorpions but I have never heard anyone talking about them in Sharm.
