Holiday Village Red
I am booked to go to the holiday village on 5 July, I so want to see what the place looks like. I chose the 5 of july because of the village not opening until May 2007, thought this would give time for any teething troubles to be sorted out. Heard on here that its not due to open now until mid June.
So will watch this space, First choice told me when I booked at christams there were no building works going on, and touch wood I havent heard anything to the contrary.
Getting excited to by the reports left here, and I look forward to hearing the first reviews.
I shall make sure I send a review when i return

Hi, at the moment the HV is not taking any guests till 14th June, it was 4th, but then there were some peace talks, which involved a lot of polticians from around the world. First Choice said that because of this many of the men working on the HV had to leave the site and return to Cairo, something to do with security.
Meanwhile evryone due to travel before the 14th June have been moved to the Coral Sea or the LTI, some opted for a refund.
I have repeatedly e-mailed FC for confirmation that everything will be fully open by beginning of July when we are due to go, but have not been impressed with replies, latest one from them said 'at present first guests due to arrive 14th June' but previous e-mail sent only a week previous said 'at present our first guests are due to go 4th June'.
If you visit Trip Adviser they are many topics about the HV on the Sharm el Sheikh forum
Good Luck

hope the place is finished when we get there.. probably find no water in the pool.. or dead rats.. or roaches..

Hi not sure if anyone has seen them, but there are some photos on www.holiday-truth.com. These were taken by a manager who visited at the end of April, there are some others that were taken mid April as well. The newest ones are on the photo upload page, but will probably moved pretty quickly to the Egypt Album.
It looks great, so fingers crossed it does open on 14th June as is the current information being given out by FC.

Just had a look on www.holiday-truth.com. gotta say its all looking great, shame we didn't get a picture of a swim uo room, although spoke with rep on Monday and it's a pool shared by all guest's who have booked these rooms, so sounds as though it's a large private pool. Never mind it's all looking fantastic, I for 1 can't wait to go

Hi
I didnt think the swim up rooms had a decicated pool to themselves I was under the impression it was just dedicated acces.
Also I took those rooms with the gates across in the pictures taken by Dave to be the swim up rooms, as there was or appeared to be direct access to a pool right in front of those rooms.
Not long to go now till we find out for sure i guess
