thank you. we will try again but we have been sending 1 a week for the last month. Looking forward to our holiday despite any bad reports. Been to Egypt several times before and have only had minor bouts of tummy prolems.

Now I have started I can't stop!
Do the hotel provide any shampoo or shower gel etc?
Is there any tea & coffee making stuff in the swim up room and if there are do the hotel provide the ingredients or should we take our own.
What is the beach like for snorkelling?

the only shampoo that was provided was the little ones you get in the "smelly bowl " in the bathroom ,also shower caps soap etc.
but a little bit of advice just below reception outside the sports bar they do afternoon tea , last year there used to be a table there and when people were leaving people used to put there half used shampoo, suncream, shower gel,sun beds, snorkles etc.
save them taking them home,we did it when we left.
as for the tea/coffee in the swim up rooms i don't no i'm afraid,we was in a standard room last year and they didn't have any , but this year were in a select room and they have em.
has for the snorkeling it was fantastic,go to the end of the jetty look out and you will see people snorleling about 1/2 mile out ..dont worry its quite shallow in places , but if you get in the water and go left in a anti-clockwise direction towards the people you will see some excellent reefs and corals and a wide variety of fish...
hope you have a great time..infact you will..don't listen to all the bad reviews .
we went 2 months after it opened and it was out of this world, unless you wanna stare at the odd bid of shabby grouting all day then so be it,just to complain about it when returning.
we go in october as it was a bit 2 hot hot hot for us last sept so we can't wait

have fun..

I didnt but if you like your own brands then yes you should. Hey did everyone see that they had Holiday Village again as holiday destination for Egypt on Good Morning on ITV it can't be that bad, that is the second time they have featured it.

Hi all. Got back early hours of Fri. Had a fantastic time. It is really really hot! I love the sun and so does my hubby but we both spent a lot of time in the shade and wore factor 50 suncream for a couple of days!!! We were all ill at some stage, the kids were vomiting as well but we took the tablets and within 24 hours we were right as rain and it didn't interfere with the holiday at all. But, you have to take the tablets and rehydration stuff they give you (which is vile!) and keep up your fluids otherwise in the dry heat you will be in trouble! Will post a review on here and on trip advisor. We had a fab time and would go back tomorrow. Just be sensible for a few days and you will be fine.

Hey glad you had a great holiday cornishbird, it is far better than some of the things people have written. We were all ill, I was ill still for 2 weeks after getting home but it did not ruin our holiday.
