we stayed at the hol village last sept. going again mon 1st sept ofr two weeks. reading some of the reviews you would think it was a prison camp. people who complain about the sizeof the rooms - book a family room with a kids den - really spacious. in other words you get what you pay for. we always pay under occupancy supplement as we only have 1 child but to us it is worth it. we have already booked ofr dominican next year.

We are going out on the 8th September, so you never know we may see you there. We are in a swim up room ( just the 2 of us ). We have been trying to email them to ask for a room in the block near reception and the main restaurant but they have not answered us. Weather should be very good, we were in Taba last September. Got our tickets today.

hi,
where did you read all the negative reviews because ive just read the reviews on holiday watchdog and out of the first 30 reviews only 4 were below 5 out of 10,and theres lots of reviews have a look at this link.

http://www.holidaywatchdog.com/35219-Sh ... eview.html

from the reviews ive read it seems a pretty good hotel.

I have been and thoroughly enjoyed it we all had the runs but nothing that ruined holiday. The HV has been featured last week on Good morning tv as a place to go so cannot be all bad. A lot of people have been trying to get compensation but they wont get it as too many good reports. I have booked again to go next year.

To Egypt 1st,Nine of us went in May/June this year and had a good holiday, yes 3 of us were ill for a day or two,and myself just for one night ,took the tabs and only eat the bread in the morning and was fine after that.So i would say go and have a great time, most of the reports are good and i must say have laughed at some of the reports because i don't think i went to the same place as them.
