| Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Village Red in Sharm El Sheikh?
We have just booked with First Choice to go for 2 weeks in August. Can anyone give any feedback on their holiday experiences here?
Regards
Paul

| This is a brand new hotel and as far as I know is not open until the beginning of the summer season. We have been looking at it in the brochures and will be interested in future reviews.
We went to the last hotel that First Choice opened in Sharm. Coral Sea and it has had many good reviews both before and after our visit.
I hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to your review.

| Thanks 4 the info. We were informed by First Choice when booking that it opened last year (mis information hey!) No wonder i couldn't find any reviews on it if it doesn't open until season 07!!!!
Just hope we don't experience all the teething problems which generally occur with new hotels/resorts!

| hi
We are booked to go to the village first two weeks of august. There are some reps going out this month for the final touches and the staff at coral sea have had their leave cancelled so they can help with finishing touches. There are a few new photos on the first choice website of the rooms (real photos) Hopefully it all sounds promising

| Its going to be amazing.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have had a tour of the holiday village , its changing every day (rapidly)
there is a massive wooden pirate ship on the beach wich is were all the high ropes are, with a zip wire wich runs from the hotel building , right across the pool and beach (what a way to get to the beach Ha Ha although i would not have the guts to have a go myself). There is a massive outdoor ampitheatre. Water slides ,kids play areas ect. There are around 1500 staff
currently working on the finishing touches. The rooms are lovley. The views are stunning. I was there for around 2 hours altogether, so you can imagine how big it is. Anyone going there is not going to be stuck for something to do. We stayed at coral sea wich is owned by the same gentleman ,and if the standards there are anything to go by you will not be dissapointed.
i hope you all have a wonderfull holiday , i am green with envy!!!!

| We were booked to go to the Red Sea Holiday Village on the June 4th and were informed yesterday at 4pm by the travel agents that there is an E.U. Conference on that week and the Goverment dont want any migrant workers on the premises so it won`t be ready!!! We are fuming as we were assured on booking that it was definetly opening in May? They suggested we could go on the 18th June, or stay at the Coral Reef Hotel, we had booked 2 rooms so there are a lot of dissapointed people, and my concerns are, what is going to happen to other families that have booked in the next few weeks as this is surely going to have a knock on effect for everyone who has booked the same week as us if they are trying to fit people in that have already booked, has anyone else had similar let downs from this complex?
Kind Regards
Andrea

| Hi itsme, yes we have but at a hotel which we didnt want, the reason we booked the all inclusive complex was because we didnt want a hotel and we really wanted to go away in May but we told it was fully booked so we have waited till June 4th and told we cant go on that date, we have got full refund back and are now surfing the net for another holiday, very angry and dissapointed. There is surely going to be a back log of people if they have cancelled everyone from that week and tried to move them, has anyone else been informed of this??????

| Hi,sorry to hear you have been moved to the coral sea hotel,we are booked for the 21st june this year so l hope everything is sorted by then, but with regard the coral sea hotel, we went there last year and all l can say is that we were not dissapointed it is excellant not like a hotel as its only 3 storeys high. l hope you decisde to go as the place was absolutley brill!! hence the reason that we decided to go to the new place which is owned by the same people.Go without any preconceptions and l assure you you cant be dissapointed.

| I've just booked for a holiday today to holiday village for next august.
Sounds fab and the rep had not long come back from a 3 day visit there. She said there was only a few things left to complet before finalisation and that there were 1500 workers there.
The only couple of moans i have is that 1, i couldnt get a free child place as i have to go in school holidays and the only other free child places would have made me late starting back work at school ( definate no no if you work in a school!!)
and 2, the brochure price is not correct as it quoted 845 for an adult for the 2 weeks and it actually was 954, but i did wangle free insurance as a bonus so made me feel slightly happier.
Really looking forward to the first reviews that are going to be coming in for this hotel. Happy Holidays those who are going this year.

| Forgot to mention the travel agent told me that if you have children going , then a few days before they go they can go to a special site on the internet hooked up to the hotel and the child can speak to/email the children already there and will have made a few friends that will be waiting for their arrival before they even leave., they put a little picture up of themselves so they can see each other.
