Novotel? snorkelling

I am going to the novotel in august with my boyfriend, for 2 weeks. I just wanted to know what the beach was like there and is there plenty of fishes. I am not going to the palm, im going to the novotel beach.
Also what are the rooms like. any good trips. I hear quad biking is fun. And how much is flying to the pyramids. any good clubs? and how about the water park. I want an action packed holiday!!!

the beach around there is good, loads of fish to see, i'd get some type of beach shoe that you can wear in the water, this will protect your feet against coral etc.

not sure about the rooms we are going the first two weeks of sept, but must say from the outside looks clean.

Loads of trips you can do, we normally do the snorkelling, Tiran island etc did do a bedowin nite but i thought it was dissapointing, i'm sure i could of done a better job at belly dancing and thats saying something if you saw me ;>) mind you i did do some belly dancing at Tam Tams as they put on entertainment, the table next to us was full of egyptians they were rolling around watching me!! quads i've heard are ok but take some enclosed shoes and long trousers also check your insurance policy to ensure you will be covered.

There is a club along the strip called Pacha, looks good and my daughter was drolling everytime she went past so i assume its got a good rep!

The water park personally i'd steer clear of, only because of the bugs you may pick up splashing around in the water, i'm sure there are plenty of people who have been there and have had no probs, but i always errr on the side of caution.
