HI THERE,
Just returned from the rehana sharm resort two weeks ago,and i was eating in the rehana royal over the road infact we were asked if we would like an upgrade to the royal but we were coming home 2 days later so we gave it a miss, but had a look round the rooms ect, realy nice. you can use rehana sharm resort, and the prima rehana, but must pay for your drinks. dont be put off from what you read there was 45 rooms ready in the royal 2 weeks ago i would think buy october it will all be finished put it this way i would go to the royal in a flash it is going to be realy class when finished.+ its right on the beach.
hope this has been helpful, david,
p.s. go for it

Hi
I was just looking for the same answer to your quetion and found a mention of it in a reveiw about the sharm.

You are allowed to use the facilities at the new hotel so if you want just get the bus down & chill by the pools which overlook the beach, when i say chill i mean chill because as this hotel isnt finished there was never any more than 30 people at a time round the pools. if you like the look of this hotel ask the reception if you can swap to this hotel, whilst we was there a few families did this at no extra cost.

so i am going to see if i can get a free upgrade to the royal as its meant to be a lot nicer although not 100% finished the restaurants are meant to be and has more pools and slide.
Let me know how you got on.
Regards
Lea
