Errr...you'll only be able to withdraw Egyptian LE (Pounds) if you intend on withdrawing money in Egypt!!
And why on earth would you want $$$. The dollar is weak at the moment and not a good rate offered.
One of the best ways to get money is to open a Nationwide Flexi Account. You get FREE ATM withdrawels anywhere in the world.....bargin in my book! (And secure)

Tips for 1st Timers
Hi Sarahbee - my husband and I spent hours looking for a place in Naama Bay and eventually decided on the Novotel. We're going for two weeks from 2nd March and really lookign forward to it - the reviews on trip advisor all seem to be very positive - although trip advisor is a great tool - it's also detrementle as I'm sure that had I not read some of the negative reports we would have booked many other places before settling with the Novotel.
I would some clarity from anyome if I may about what to weat of an evening, both men and women.
We have booked B&B as it would appear that there are many places to eat in Naama Bay, what would be suitable for both me and my husband to wear - i.e if we were to wonder during the daytime, can I wear knee length dresses with shoestring straps or do I have to make sure that my dresses fall below the knee likewsie can my husband walk arounf in shorts and t shirt during teh day.
Night time - can I wear dresses but woukd I need to cover my shoulders or arms - likewsie if I wore trousers and a sleveless top - do I need to cover shoulders or arms?
thanks
Luc

That's ok Rosela, we kan orl spel like thatt sumtimes : )
You will be fine in resort & around the hotel to wear shorts & strappy T-shirts, skirts above the knee. Your hotel may insist that hubby wears full length trousers in the restaurant in the evening, if you eat there.
I have heard about 1 restaurant in Na'ama (soory, don't know name) where the manager insisted that a lady with a lot of ample cleavage on show & part of her butt cheeks on display, covered up with the coat he rushed forth & smothered her with! If you go on trips, out of Sharm, more conservative clothing is advisable & shoulders / knees must be covered in mosques / sacred sites.
