Trips/Excursions - Sharm El Shiekh

Hi quite new to all this so any help would be much appreciated please. going to sharm 28th of jan and quite interested in the trips on offer would I be best off booking before I go or waiting till I get there?? And anyone been on the cairo trip from sharm wot was it like?? thanks

I've said this before but I'll say it agian......There is no need for everyone to get Hanys telephone number. If he dealt with half the folk on here that got his number, he wouldn't be able to cope! He is one individual that is out to make a few quid for himself. There are loads of Hanys in Sharm!!

This is the deal........the travel companies take your money and go to the local trip booking office and book your trips. The travel company makes lots of money because there is no middle man!

Hany and everyone else knows this and therefore they will also book your trips for you by taking less money than the travel companies and book the trip for you at the local trip booking office! But still making a few quid for himself.

So this is what you have to ask yourself.

1. Do you pay top money to the travel companies?
2. Do you make friends with a local and get him to book your trips for you?
3. Do you book them yourself with the booking office saving a small fortune?

To help you with this, I booked quad biking and Cairo myself and paid a lot less than other people on EXACTLY the same trip. They had mostly booked through the travel companies.

First Choice were quoting �160+ for one day flying to Cairo, I paid �105 by booking it direct with the travel agents in old Sharm.

Hope this helps and you can see why you dont really need Hanys number!

There are countless local vendors out there.....many doubtless called Hany! They will be falling over themselves to gain your biz, just like the taxi drivers.
We were happy with a firm called RSM; they were very obliging & will try their best for you too.
Didn't realise we can advertise for locals on here & take emails & tout for them.

If loads of folk had used Hany, don't you think they would have been back on here, thanking the original poster?

However I always like the last word. If you do try to book with Hany and it goes pear shape......just remember this forum!!
