| i really wouldnt trust any stranger to look after my little ones - especially as a male dominated workforce you wil be lucky to find any women working in Egypt. Would you trust a male stranger to look after your child? i doubt it. After the Maddie McCann incident, i would have thought people would be less inclined to leave their little ones with strangers. When mine were little, they came everywhere with us, night and day, now they are older, now is our time to have more freedom on holiday. I for one wouldnt trust them with my gran let alone my child. Sorry to sound negative, but people really shouldnt leave their kids abroad with strangers.

| the hotel is awesome, a man made beach around the pool, beautiful gardens and the hotel itself is gorgeous - see this link for lots of pics -

It was bombed by terrorists in 2005 but they spent loads on it and it is now 100% better than it was before.
enjoy the pics and i hope i didnt offend you with my reply, there are so many family orientated places to go at night in sharm that you really wont be bothered about a babysitter. It is so warm that sitting outside a bar or restaurant with the little one wont hurt, better than sitting inside with the ciggie smoke.
I agree, god bless Maddie and i sincerly hope and pray she is back with her family sooner rather than later, the whole saga rips my heart to bits.

| Hi Filmishmish!
I agree totally. I would personally not my little one out of sight at home never mind abroad. I do appreciate the benefits of kids clubs / child minding services, but they aren't for me,

| fine, how are you doing? Neph said you left a message here for me this morning. flapped yesterday over Nebs insane thread, luckily Egyptair told us we can still fly to Luxor even though my ma in law bought the tickets!! I still cant believe how cheap my Luxor trip cost me, much better to do DIY and see what we want to see, the tickets only cost £60 return for both of us, bargain!! Looks like it wil be a ladies reunion in Sharm, so many of us going and meeting up, gonna be great!! Neph said Craigy was missing me, so i left him a message but dont think he has picked it up yet. Lovely to hear from you -this is soo exciting. xx

| So long as we dont get booted out of here for starting our "own" club. Yes you are missed greatly in that "other land". Nepthys kept some of us in touch. That really was an eye opener yesterday re the Credit Card issue ........ never would have thought !!!! Quit a few supported you fully in TA. Have also been in touch with your friend in Sharm. Think he's a good bloke. FMM rules !!!!!!!!

| im in the same predicament and have been reading loads of message boards to find out people experiences and i just wanted to let you know iv decided against it, although something is better than nothing, i wanted to go to teneriff with a nine month old.
maybe if you take a bit cheeper holiday and take a family member with you that can help out, im going to do exacly that or take her with me everywhere, iv got a 17year old girl too and ill go somewhere cheeper, pay for her ,she can get her spending money and for a few nights can babysit for her sister, if she was older and could talk so could tell me what happened then mayb id feel a bit better, but every artical i read was not very happy with the service, some left the children on there own for a bit to do something else and some dont go and sit with them its just a listening at the door service, hope this helps
