| Hi Mike
Have just come back from Rebeccas Village and loved it!
The complex is lovely, well spread out and plenty of room around the pool. The apartments are clean and resonable size. Not much in the way of self catering though (but we don't go away to cook so it didn't bother us). The ovens are screwed shut so you can't use them. There is 2 rings though and pots and pans and kettle etc. We had one bedroom apartment and there was a bed in the living area for my son. Bathroom was decent size and clean. Rooms are air conditioned which you pay for at reception. We had a lovely view from our room - could see the sea. Staff were very pleasant.
There is plenty of sun beds and the pool bar serves some nice food at reasonable prices.
The restaurant serves a buffet style breakfast for 7 euros (bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, fruit, continental meats, cheese, greek yoghurt) or every restaurant is Sidari serves a full english for about half this price! We ate in the restuarant a few times in the evening. Most people would go into the town at night but we couldn't be bothered most the time!! The food was good - we would have starters and mains for 3 and a litre carafe of wine, bottle of water for about 35 euros. Then my son could have a couple of games of pool while we finished the night of with a sambucca or two with Spiros!
The apartments do a Greek night once a week which was good value for money. Plenty of BBQ'd meat, salads etc with Greek dancing.
The walk into town takes about 20 minutes, but go straight over when you get to the cross roads on the main road, not left (unless you want supermarket). There is a shuttle bus which goes from the apartments to the beach at 11am and returns at 4pm. Taxis cost 5 euros - reception will order them for you and the taxi rank is in centre of town.
Sidari is full of bars, restaurants, kareoke etc. We booked trips in the town not with the reps as they were about half price.
We would definately go back to Rebeccas.
Have a great holiday
Jayne
