| We're booked to go to the Alba Resort which is in Colakli near Side. We're going in June, Thomas Cook have advised us that they "believe" there is building work ongoing but they are unsure as to the exact location. They have advised the work is ongoing in/& around the Alba Resort, Alba Royal & Alba Queen. Has anyone else has a similar notification?

| Another review has gone on Holidaycheck which although is in german does come out with a 4.9 rating - so like you I think early teething problems which will soon be addressed.

| I'm travelling to alba resort on 29th june - from all the reviews i'm certainly looking forward to it!
What travel company did you travel with & what booked activities are recommended & avaliable - thanks.
Also - rough prices on trips would be appreciated so I know how much cash to take with me :)

| We are booked into the Alba Royal Resort for 2wks on the 6th July. We are all looking forward to this and cannot wait.
We just hope all the reviews that we have read are true and we have as good a time as they have had.

| Hi everyone. I am desperatly trying to book a holiday at the Alba Royal, Colakli nr Side but cannott find it anywhere! I have tried thomas cook but to no avail. In the destination bit for the thomas cook online booking there is no way of putting in this destination! Am I doing something wromg? Can any one point me in the right direction please!? It will be from East midlands airport for 4 adults and two children. Any advice will be gratefully recieved. x

| Why dont you just phone Thomas Cook and ask them. It's in their curent Turkey brochure but not sure whether they will fly to this resort from East Midlands, Im travelling from Glasgow.

| Booked some time ago (April) with Thomas Cook and most of the weeks we wanted were already full. We are flying from East Midlands -its a Sunday afternoon flight and returns there just after midnight.

| Message to Niknak969 - have looked on T.C. site and if you state destination as Colakli the Alba Royal does come up for a few dates from East Midlands - some in Aug, Sept & Oct but dont know when you were thinking of going. Also on the left hand side/bottom you can put in the name of hotel and then do a search. Good luck.

| Hi I think theyre are a couple of water slides but am not sure!!
We fly out on 6th July as said before, does anyone else fly out this date or near to it at all ??
We are a family of 3 so perhaps we could meet up etc.
Cant wait , 5wks and counting!!!!

| According to the pictures on holidaycheck there is a small kiddies slide but that's all. The big slides are next door at the Alba Resort but I doubt we'll be able to get in there as they check your wristbands...

| I have been keeping an eye on holiday check and notice lots of new photos, which look great. The reviews are all in German unfortunately so can't make them out. It is obviously a very German dominated resort. If anyone is going, it would be nice to see some British reviews.

Slightly worried by 1 review which said 80% German occupation - nothing against Germans (other than hogging sun beds at 5am) but slightly worried that we will have no English companions - any takers for Aug 17th?
