| just over a week to go . weather is picking up nicely so hopefully it will have settled when we get there.. but in three years of going early may to the hemera it only rained for 1 afternoon..

| yes you get a kettle and tea making things but only small cups so you may want to take a proper cup. as for cigarretes i cant comment as i dont smoke...

i have just been told that you do not buy cigarettes in the shops in turkey unless they have a white turkish sticker on them or the cigarettes will be fake if they are a known english brand b&h etc without the white sticker stay away . but my son bought some called l&m from the shops for about £9 for 200 which he says are ok...

On 19 May Turkey Stopped smoking in a public place.
Our ages 50 and 53. Just returned from the above, all inclusive on the Beach Holiday With Portland Direct. Thompson and Thomas Cook also operate at this venue.
If Carlsberg did package tours, it would properly own the Hemera Hotel! It is not difficult to find people that are on their 10th return visit, which says a lot! Rooms are large modern and spotless. Staff the best ever. Food was outstanding with 3 theme restaurants.
Minus points. Many of the rooms have a restricted view. Our room, 1406 was located over the lobby bar. The view from our balcony was about 10 meters of flat roof at the same level as our floor. So we never had a view. When we spoke to reception they offered to change the room with no problem. However if the hotel had been full then I think it would have been tuff luck.
On 23rd May 2008, the Oxyd Nightclub, which is located 150 meters from the Hemera and the Hotel Sunrise Queen, opened its doors for the season. The night was shattered by Rave music on till 04.00 am, from 04.00 – 05.00 am, it was the sound of Taxi's. The club operates Wed – Sat. If the room air conditioning had been on, we would have had our balcony door closed, but it was too hot.
It appears that the quietist rooms are facing the Sunrise Queen Hotel over looking the service road and not facing the swimming pool.
Overall, had a great time, met great people, it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. THANKS HEMERA.

I have read all the reviews and would likr to book The Hemera in Spt 08 around the 13th.
But I can't find any availablity does anyone know the reason why?

| because it books up really fast i have booked for next april/may to make sure i got in . im sure thomas cook has some in sept , there are some in oct i think im going back then.
