El Mouradi Hotel - Skanes

hi, i am going to skanes on the 28 of this month staying at the el mouradi. 2 weeks all inc. from cardiff �299 each, anyone been to this hotel? and i have read lots of reviews in different forums. apart from the mozzies and go into the local town as skanes is dead as a do do any tips. i would like to know if its best to take travellers cheques or get money out of the hole in the walls.it's a muslim country and a poor one so any tips for two women alone.thank you
