| The ice cream is not included in all-inclusive, neither are the donut things, waffles and chocolate covered nuts.
Ive been to the Houda 3 times, twice I took travellers cheques (sterling) but the last time i just took money, as you can cash bioth at reception.
hope you have a good holiday

| Not in the rooms no, but there is a lot of them just off the reception. You need to ask there to pay rental for the duration of your stay. I've never used them myself, but I do know of people 'loosing' things from their rooms..

| Enjoy the Houda, we've been twice, don't believe the negative reviews, this place is excellent especially for the money. Ice Cream is only provided at lunch time which is between 12:30 and 2:30, you can have as much as you want between these times, to be honest the hotel shop sells ice cream etc. and it's not expensive. The hotel does have internet facilities however this is franchised out so nothing to do with the Houda, this can be a problem as the computers are not available to use until the guy who runs it turns up and only when he is there, sometimes he seems to please him self as when he works. I think I paid 20 Dinar for 3 hours access, this was plenty to see me though 2 weeks.
As mentioned the hotel will change stirling, one word of warning regarding money, your rep will tell you to get rid of all your dinar before going through to the departure lounge at Monastir airport, don't because if you want to get a drink or a snack whilst waiting for your flight you will be ripped off, all items are priced in dinar and the cashiers method of calculation seems to be charge as much as possible and pocket the difference, example was 500ml bottle of water priced at 2.2 Dinar, a dinar was about 40p at the time they tried to charge me £1.80.
