| hey i had my first year at houda this year and went with my best friend and her family who have been going to houda for the past 4 years.I can honestly say i had the best time over there. The staff are so friendly and helpful the rooms are really nice and big.The beds arent as comfy as i would have liked them to be but you can still have a good nights sleep. The food is of a good standard its not the best but what do people expect from a 3 star hotel. The entertainment is fab...the animation team made our holiday they work so hard and always have smiles on there faces and are always getting you up dancing and making you laugh. They work such long hours for such little pay and are stil so energetic and have such presence. The atmosphere is great theres always something to do so dont worry about that.Every holiday experience is different just dont go to houda expecting everything to be the best its good for a 3 star hotel.I loved it so much im going back this august too!thanks hayley x

| We've been to Tunisia quite a few times and we have stayed at the Houda the last year and the year before, both times we had reservations after reading all the poor reports on this site. Both our visits to the Houda have been fantastic and free from anything but very minor stomach upset, which is only to be expected whenever you visit any hot country. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially the animation team. Contrary to what has been said in some reviews, the hotel is kept spotlessly clean, there are cleaners on duty 24/7 and if there is a mes left by inconsiderate guests it is usually cleaned up quickly. The swimming pool is vacuumed 3 times a day, usually fist thing in the morning, around mid day and then last thing in the evening, again contrary to what some have said about the pool being dirty and never vacuumed, bear in mind the pool has palm trees round it, bits do fall off these trees and land in the pool, these bark like bits are brown in colour and I'm sure this is what some stupid people have thought was poo in their reviews. Seaweed on the beach, another moan, come on this is quite natural and happens all round the Med and any other beach destination, some stupid reviewers have taken this as a sign of the sea being polluted and dirty, Yeah right, the Sea is absolutely teaming with fish walk out and you will have them swimming around you, some quite large.
