| Have just received letter from Thomas Cook to say that the hotel Marhaba Club, next to ours (Hotel Marhaba) is having major works done to it. They tell us that noise and visual disturbance will be experienced, especially around our pool area. We have tried to ring both Thomas Cook and Sunset (also Thomas Cook) but had no luck getting through - just kept hanging on line for one and a half hours waiting for someone to answer the phone!!! Our letter says that we can try to change accommodation if this is available (and we pay for it, of course!) Any advice? Should we take pot luck or keep trying? We had our last holiday spoilt with this company after spending two days of our xmas holiday at Gatwick airport. It is rather annoying to say the least.
