| Hi, One of my favourite restaurants in Sousse is L'Escargot - food and service faultless! And the prices are very reasonable also. Location in the Corniche, opposite El Hana Hotels

| Depends where your staying we were @ the royal beach hotel & it cost 3 dinah`s for a taxi to the medina , dont pay anymore & make sure they are yellow taxi`s with the number on top, there is also a noddy train which is big enough to carry all 22 of you , not sure of the price but was told its very cheap but make sure you purchase single fare`s as they are coloured coded ..

| Hi There
Just had an excellent response to a question I asked previously about the Riadh palms hotel which is where I'm going to stay at with my mum [ whom is disabled]. We have no transfer from the airport booked. Is the taxi service good and what sort of price/time will we be looking at from the airport to Sousse.
Thanks Kat

| Hi
I have just return from Sousse, having taken my mother who uses 2 sticks. She managed to get around ok, just be careful as alot of their pavements are like cobbald streets. Taxi's are plentiful - do barter with them and stand you ground. We paid 10 dinar to come from Monastir Airport to Souse, 3 Dinar to go into the Medina in Sousse. When we left it was 2.26 Dinar to the pound. You can change money at airport or hotels easily. There is also a noddy train that runs from Sousse to the next town 2.50 Dinar one way, you can get a return ticket for about 3 Dinar but you must return on the same coloured train [there different colours] you went on. They run about every half hour and you just put your hand out and they stop. If you can its what made our holiday do the Sahara trip its over 2 days - well worth it. If you need anymore ifor please ask.

| Hi nice to know your a local living in sousse. thinking of booking a 2 week all inclusive for sept this year or maybe a self catering. We know its Ramadan throughout this month & wondering if we were to go self carering what would be the likelihood of being served alcoholic drinks outside resort & how expensive drinks arein the resort. Myself & my fiancee like sightseeing as well as relaxin by pool & beach so undecided to our accomadation, any tips re all inclusive, half board or self catering?
