| We stayed in Port El Kantoui at Christmas 2007 and did the Sahara trip. It was a two day trip with a stay in a hotel just on the edge of the Sahara Desert. It is an early start on both days but an excellent trip that is value for money. On the journey to the Sahara we stopped at Eljem, we saw where Star Wars was filmed and had lunch there and we stopped at the trogldite village. We had a camel ride in the Sahara on arrival. We hired the bedowin outfits, which is all part of the fun. We then went to the hotel where we had a 3 course buffet style meal. The next day we were up early for breakfast and then off to see the salt lakes and the sun rise. Also included in the trip was a jeep safari. We saw the atlas mountains and other beatiful sights. We stopped at a hotel for lunch on the way back. We had an excellent guide who was very informative about the trip and gave us information about Tunisia in general. Overall the trip is excellent not to be missed.

| Hi, Just got back from a week at the Jinene Hotel in Sousse. The Holiday was with Thomas Cook.
The trip I think you are reffering too is the Sahara Explorer.
2 days and leaves the hotel on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday morning.
The cost is TD 165 per person.
The trip consists of
Camel Ride
4x4 excursion
Overnight accomodation in a hotel
Food and Drinks
Sunset in the Sahara
Visit to the 'Star Wars' film set
Visit to an oasis
Entertainment in the evening
You get dressed up in the appropiate Desert clothing
All the above is included in the above TD 165 pp price.
The exchange rate fluctuated between 2.25 and 2.42 TD to the £ in the
week 15th June - 22 June.
The trip IS worth the money and an experience you will never forget.

| Hello,
The person who wrote the sahara trip was roughly 165 TD, who did you book it with? We're going to Sousse on 13th August and were thinking of booking a sahara trip online before go with Tunisiafirst. Has anybody else booked their excursion with this company and if so was the service ok? Thanks for your help x
