Hi, can anyone who has been to Sri Lanka advise me with regards to types of accomodation available? We are planning to marry there later in the year but all the travel agents are telling us that no hotels in any resorts can cater for 2 adults and 2 children in the same room - I know it's because they want me to book 2 rooms but my kids aren't old enough to stay in their own room!
Apparently if we upgrade to a suite this only buys a lounge/seating area, not a sleeping area - surely this can't be true, what do people with 3 young kids do?!

hi,,ive been to sri lanka 4times before and i also got married there in 2002,,,,they dont have any rooms that sleep more than 3 people,,then thats just a camp bed sort of bed for the 3rd person,,you would have to book 2rooms but some hotels have rooms that lead onto your room which children sleep by the means of a door that you can leave open into your room,,,but only in the hotel,,,which is a bit of a con,coz you have to pay more for hotel accomadation,,hope this os of use to you
