| Lyda Horizon,
Would really be great for me too as I am also heading to Lyda Horizon in Aug 06 and finding it really difficult to obtain info, taking into account that it is really new.

Hi Again Christina, May again, did you find out anymore about the hotel?. Cant wait to read a review,if i see any anywhere alse on boards on other sites i will let you know ok. May:thumleft: p/s. where do you live in Cork?, Im Ballyvolane.

| There was a review on tripadvisor today, it said the hotel is lovely,pool very good too. I have asked more questions and will post here when i get a reply.
Now we know a little about the hotel for now.:occasion1

| Hi, Read that hotel is lovely,a bit of work still going on in new block but some people staying in it,only finishing touches i believe. I think i read this on either Tripadvisor or Greecemonkey forums,i look at so many trying for info,it all seems good and the gardens around the hotel are lovely,great pool and lots of nice eateries around so i look forward to my holiday in September now that i have some info, to all going have a great holiday and look forward to your reviews and photos.:occasion1

| Hi there folks.
I cannot help you on the hotel you need info on but i can tell you Stalis is a very nice resort. The beach is good, the people are very freindly and it gets a big thumbs up from me. The bars are nice but if your young and want the louder party bars Malia is a short walk away maybe taking you 15/20 minutes. The resteraunts in Stalis are very nice, so many to choose from. I would recommend you visit Socretes which is located next to the Minoan King car rental place on beach road as if you were heading for Malia but its in Stalis. Adonis the host is very welcoming and funny and the food is fantastic if you like trying the local dishes. Be prepeared for plenty of Raki as all the reseraunts give you a shot after your meal.
I'm sure you will be very pleased with your choice of resort, hope you all have a great time and hope you don't get to drunk or burnt. :occasion1
