Postby fmason on Sat Jul 12, 2008 5:25 pm

Hi, 4 lads going 28th July, staying in an all inclusive (730, 2 weeks - nessebar beach).

a) good hotel?
b) cheap price?
c) whats this about muggings?
d) is there many english groups there or all scandanavians / germans?

Cheers

You won't need to worry about muggings in Nessebar, you are well away from the centre of Sunny Beach.
You will find the place is a total mix of Europeans, German, Scandinavians, Russians etc.

Personally, I would never go AI in Bulgaria. Most hotel food is only so,so and limited choice of drink, whereas the resort itself has loads of good, quality ( but cheap ) restaurants and bars.

I'm staying in one of the best hotels in SB, half board( Food here in excellent ) in the heart of the resort for just over 500 for 2 weeks so II'm not sure 730 is such a good deal.

There is an Irish bar in Nessebar called the Red Harp, worth a visit.

Is it the nessebur beach hotel in sb down next to korona, prices have gone up a bit over the years but still cheap compared to other destinations.Muggings can happen anywhere and in all the years i have been going to sb never seen any bother at all,and you will find lots of british, scandanavians, germans and russians at that time,i myself am flying out on the 25th july, not coming quick enough.Have a good one.
