I cant tell you too much about the Diamond hotel. The location is ok, its not right in the middle of the place but its near enough and a five min walk will see you on the beach. When i visited Bulgaria the first time, we had a couple of drinks in the hotel. The one thing i did notice was that it was full of Germans. There didnt seem to be much night life in the hotel.
What i have seen of the hotel, i dont think i would book to stay there. But that is only my opinion, and it was three years ago, so it might have changed

Cheers, my parents are due home today, they seem to have survived, & you're right, not much life in the hotel but near to everything needed to make their holiday.
Thanks again for replying.

myself, wife, son & his friend stayed here last august,we couldn't fault it apart from the breakfast & evening meals, they became somewhat repetitive more or less the same meals over a number of nights, even so the meals were nice. The hotel itself is lovely, nice & clean, linen change every day, pool very clean just make sure you are up early enough to get a sun lounger.I am sure your parents will enjoy it.if eating out, try malinas in the resort centre, great value for money, also Djannis in the market area, very cheap & clean.
I hope this helps.
