Hi,
We are going to this hotel in August. If anyone has been I would be grateful of any info about this hotel. Is there a dress code for meals?.Also we have been told that we will require a visa,is this payable in Sterling or Egyptian pounds?,and could we aquire one prior to our visit.Anyone else going to this hotel or any others nearby on August 21st.
Many thanks,

Hi

I have had a few clients stay at this hotel and I have had good feedback on this hotel.

You will need to get your visa on arrival it will cost 10 sterling per person and its very easy to do. You will be given a card to fill in on the flight normally and you will then get the visa just before you go through passport control.

The dress cde will be smart casual for meals in the evening.

i hope this helps if you need any further info just ask me.:occasion1

Hi,
Thanks for your reply,on the dress code issue, will shorts be allowed at meal times?.Also would it be worthwhile getting a visa from the Egyptian embassy prior to our visit to avoid any queues.

Shorts will be fine as long as they are tailored shorts ( so not ones you would wear to the beach) It may be worth taking 1 pair of smart trousers gor Gala night. Most hotels have a Gala night and this tends to be a more formal night.

It does not take long to get your visa in Egypt so I would advise just get it when you get there, it will be much easier.:thumleft:
