Hot October?

Anyone know what the weather will be like in Ocotber?
All webistes saying mid 20s but i've heard they are sometimes they are way out...?
Cant decide between Lanzarote or Tenerife but want the hottest weather possible!

hi tinkybell,
its like asking how long is a piece of string because weather pattens are so unpredictable,ive checked last octobers temperatures and they are the same for both tenerife and lanzarote.

for the whole of october both islands were 22c on average through the day and 18c minimum at night,lanz can be a little windy at times but when its 22c its nice to have a touch of wind to cool you.

but having said that,weather is so unpredictable any of the islands could have a good or bad day,you just dont know,hope this helps.

Hi TinkyBell, we went to Tenerife last October, staying in Puerto de la Cruz. We had a lovely time. Spent many day on the beach, great between 10-00 and 4-00. Lovely and warm, like a hot summer's day at home, so take care you will burn. Came back with a lovely tan. We are going back in November and expect it to be the same. Enjoy.

Yes i would confirm ..been to the Canary 1slands over the last Eight years from Oct--March..for the amount of days it either rained or was over cast..if my memory serves me correct..probably less than a dozen times over that time span .Enjoy!!

Hi we just returned from tenerife nov 4years on the trot we been to same place ,this year found weather not as good as it used to be loads of clouds out of 7 days we only had 2 really sunny days temp dropped from 22c to 17c was disappointed but what can you do

what weather sites is everyone using? i've found the official one to be pretty reliable - http://www.aemet.es - although the amount of rain we receive is generally less (not complaining!)
