Money Exchange

As we are going on the Crimean discovery sailing on the Calypso could you use and would they accept the Euro in the countries it visits or do you have to exchange to there denomination, as it has a various ports of call. Other places we have visited they would take �� but not quite sure in Romania, Istanbull. What did you all do on this holiday??

We did this cruise first week in May this year. All countries did take euros but gave you change in their currency. In Rumania and Bugaria a Tourist Officier came on ship and would change money for you (we did not bother with this) and give you any advise you needed including maps. In Ukraine we went to a change booth just outside the port to your right - don't change much in Ukraine as there is nothing to spent it on!!. Turkey used the euro no problem. Janet
