Hi,

Looking back into our holiday files,

We did the city tour in Marseille about 24 found this to be just about worth it.

A taste of Corsica in Ajaccio, visiting a vinery, and a nugget factory, no price recorded, but whatever it was we did not think much of this one.

Nuraghe Palmavara Village tour in Alghero, which the wife hated, and I loved.

So I guess it's each to his/her own.
Cruising is like 'Being in the Garden of Eating'

It is possible to walk to the Vatican from Colosseum, but it is a fair way. We did the reverse starting at the Vatican and got a taxi costing just under 8 euro

Hi, I agree with Tenpin the Taste of Corsica trip was to be kind to it not very good at all.
The next time we visited Ajaccio we used the open top bus from and had a very enjoyable time. We just paid as we got on board.

Funny thing was a tour of Corsica from the ship, which had done a walking tour of Ajaccio to be followed by the bus tour, were on the same bus and had paid considerably more than us!!!

Sorry Toplino forgot to mention the train to Pompei.

It is very easy to visit on your own, much quicker to get there and cheap. You need to ask for the train station for the Circumvesuviana and it isn't far from the dock. For Pompei the station is called Pompeii scavi and is right by the gate into the site.

Gave a great cruise

Hi we did this cruise in june for our honeymmon.

Not wanting to go on trips every day we chose just two.
we did the tunisia trip to Carthage which was good and the trip by train to Sorrento and Pompei which was amazing and worth every penny.

im sure whatever you do you will have a wonderful time
