thinking about a 1st cruise in early april 2008

it would be on the celebration, offers at time of posting this are about 349 - 399 for 7 nights around the med.
other than this cost what else are you expected to pay? will the bill at the end of the trip just be for bar drinks and tours etc?. all activities on board such as cinema, sports, eating etc are paid for in this price right? and wont be added on in a bill at the end,you can use facilities and eat as much as you like without worrying about cost?....i presume though things like spas, saunas and any beauty places are not free?
can you tell me what the weather is generally like for this early april period around the med? is it bearable? can you still enjoy a bit of warmth?
finally im intrigued as to how busy cinema and sports activities are,...are there cinema showings throughout the day? do you just pour in till there are no more chairs? and are basketball and gyms often packed?

oh plus can anyone who is in the uk on a uk spouse visa confirm that travelling on these cruises with flight is all ok?

sorry for alot of questions. any answers will be much appreciated

I am sure you will enjoy your first cruise and will be back.
the bill at the end will be for anything you bought on board including photos, gifts, anything from the ships shop, organised trips and the bar bill, if you wnat to tip anyone thats at your discretion.

The celebration might not do an all inclusive option, but when we cruised on the destiny they give us an option to upgrade to all inclusive, this was well worth it for us, again it depends what/how much your going to drink.

as it's your first cruise dont be to quick to book on the ships organised excursions, there will be lots of nice people on board and it's easy to share and get a taxi to take you into the town when you get off ship, obviously if it something special you dont want to miss, yes book with the ship, but to get a cab is cheap and easy.

the med weather is fine, dont worry just think of it that its there ship and they aint gonna put it in any danger!

re visa allowance, you should check this with the travel company BEFORE you book the holiday.

have a good hol Edd.

thanks,...i was thinking all inclusive for us both wouldn`t be needed as we do like a drink but dont need one often,....presumebly you get free drinks of water or juice or something at meal times?
yes we plan to go our own way RE excursions,...i know it can be done at rome and barcelona to good effect and not sure on marseille and the tunisian place but sure we can work something out.

cruise ship visa laws should be more relaxed shouldn`t they?
anyway yeah i`ll phone the company
