Hello everyone

I am going on my first cruise on Oct 26th, Thompson Destiny - Canary Island. What type of weather should I expect? What type of plug adaptor do I need?

Weather should be ok most days, with reasonablly carm sea.

Either European three pin or American two pin adaptor in cabins.

Two pin shaver socket in bathrooms.

Can anyone tell me what is the minimun expected dress code for men for the captain's night. Do you have to wear a shirt and tie?

Is it really worthwhile going to it anyway? Is it in two sittings in the main restaurant on the Destiny?

Jacket and tie is minimum, going depends on whether you enjoy something more formal, you can always eat in the buffet if you don't fancy getting dressed up. Usually two sittings of which you are informed of by note in cabin.

You also get to have your photo taken with the Captain (big deal) but it does give you something for your album which is slightly different.
