Has anyone recently cruised Iceland and the Western fjords on Thomson Celebration cos seen a decent deal and have always wanted to go there but was wondering what sort of weather we could expect during about the last 10 days in july.
Any advice is most welcome thanks

Iceland/Fjords on Celebration

Hi Woodster,

This is one of the cruises I pulled up for you this morning, posted on Carnival at 10.30. Although not meeting your requirements it is a great cruise.

Just bear in mind that Norway/Iceland cruises are expensive for shore tours and drinks/taxis when ashore.

We hope that the weather will be in the sixties when we do the North Cape with the Grand Princess in June, so should be even better in July. Take a jumper or sweatshirt for the evening and when going ashore it can get cold.

One other of same type is the Jewel of the Sea from Harwich, 16 & 28th July 12 nights 1175. Certainly a nice ship 4 star plus.
Cruising is like 'Being in the Garden of Eating'

Iceland/Fjords on Celebration

It's definately worth it!! had an excellent time last year when we went there, the only blip was the ship we went on which was the spirit but the celebration should be fine. The weather can be quite cool especially at the north of iceland, Isafjord so make sure u take jackets and stuff, and in norway it always rains!! But anything else u want to know just ask! It really is a place to remember.

Thanks to both of you for that ill have a look at the deals. At the mo im looking at quite a few as you know Tenpin and being an inexperienced cruiser and having to think about the financial side of things will prob opt for something 'safer' for now but am determined to do a north cape/fjords/iceland cruise in the future.
Thanks again guys much appreciated.
