Joined: 23 Apr 2007 Posts: 8	Smart shirt or polo shirt & smart trousers - only a suit if you want to of on Formal of Gala nights - check the cruise news each night & that will give you suggested attire for that particular night - hope this was helpful ....

Joined: 06 May 2007 Posts: 18 My Profile	Hi Archee No, you don't have to wear a suit, smart casual is the order of the day in the restaurant, unless it is on the Captains Night, even then if you don't wish to dress up, you can always eat in the Bistro Cafe. Shopping is the usual cruise fare, a few clothes and toilet necessities etc. Best do your shopping ashore. Have a good time. Catkinx

Joined: 13 Feb 2006 Posts: 89 My Profile	Hiya Archee we have just done our first cruise last month for our honeymoon and it was so great we want to do it again. we sailed around the Med on Thomson Celebration. There was a mixture of people dressed up and people casual. A tip for shopping on board i woudl say if you see something you want buy it there and then. the shops are only open whilst the boat is at sea and they bring new stock from storage each night and the next night it goes back and different stuff is put out. I seen a lovely cuddly dog for my neice and thought i would get it later in the week but it was put back in the stockroom and never put out again during our trip. Im sure you will love cruisng there is so much to do or you can do very little and just chill if you choose. Jane
