Thanks for that, so can you confirm there weren't any poor people at the port when alighting from ship?

My Mum and I don't like the thought of walking off a ship past poor souls.

There wasnt anybody apart from taxi drivers by the side of the ship, but there were beggers in Agadir by the Souk.
We came across a little girl around about 8 begging for money by the side of our coach. And there were several older men begging as well.

Hi Soapstar yellow, singlemum is right, although there's no poor beggers whe you disembark (as they can't get up to the ship because of port authorities) there are loads by the Souk...disabled...children etc and yes it's quite upsetting. Some are also a liitle intimidating if you're feeling nervous.
However i the main part (by the beach) we saw none and it definately more of a 'touristy feel' of an atmosphere

Hi everybody ,reception on board ship have a daily supply of maps to hand out for each port of call for folk wanting to do their own thing,

they do have maps in the cabin but some of the info is incorrect ie. they said at Sicily that it is a 30 min walk to the beach but it was 10!! Also just a mention taxis are expensive... a euro a min roughly
