Cabin numbers - deck 2/3 (quiet)

Hi,

I keep reading that these cabins are noisy. Can anyone give me more information, or recommend a quiet cabin number?

Or, does anyone know if you can upgrade after booking?

hello ic74,

2014 to 2078 on deck two.

3014 to 3078 on deck three

4014 to 4078 on deck Four All are forward of the engine room.

Any on 5 & 6 but the higher up you are the less noise

except when docking the the whole ship is noisy.

To upgrade either now before you go or ask when checking in but before you give them any details.

We just got back from Thomson Destiny today and had a great time but yes our cabin was noisy. We booked late only a week before so couldn't complain really but after speaking to other regular cruisers we were told deck 3 or above is best and ask for the front of the ship. We were right at the back and the noise was terrible from the engines

Thanks for the cabin numbers. I will have a look at the deckplans......�35 booking fee might be worth it if it guarantees us a good night's sleep!

Travelcrazychick - do you remember which cabin number you were out of curiosity?

We were on thomson celebration deck 3 cabin 466 and it was quiet. The further you went along the corridor to either side, the noisier it got.

Thanks all - have booked cabin 3062. Should be fine. And it's quite near the lifts without being too near!
