we are going on the destiny for the first time in july next year, we have booked an outside cabin on deck 2/3, but after reading some reveiws on here about noise from the engines i was thinking of either booking a cabin away from the noise or upgradeing to 4/5 deck, can anyone advice me whats best please?

Cabins On Deck 2/3 Outside

Just back and stayed in cabin 3062 which I would recommend. Quiet, picture window (rather than porthole), and near elevators without being too near! Also not on a corridor that people would walk along unless their cabin is beyond it. So very quiet!

Cabins On Deck 2/3 Outside

Hi tercar

I found it could get breezy late afternoon (especially when at sea!) and depending on where you could find sun loungers and which way the boat was pointing into or away from the wind. It tends to be breezier in ports than it is in town.

If you like the beach, the one in Arrecife is lovely but you need to take your own towels as there's no loungers etc. Lovely sand though!

Sometimes you need something warm at night, sometimes you don't. It depends on how severe the air con is! I found sometimes it was colder indoors than out when in port. I think they blast it, then when everyone starts enjoying their evening it all warms us as the public areas are pretty busy!

The shows are fantastic! If you are on second sitting there is a quiz before dinner in the Oklahoma lounge.
