Child prices on excursions

Postby Miss Ritchie on Tue May 06, 2008 4:52 pm

Hi there.

Only 6 weeks until our first ever cruise and I just wanted to check the cost of the excursions for children. Do they pay full price?

Cheers.

Child prices on excursions

Hi Miss Ritchie,

There is a cut off point for child prices, maybe wrong but I seem to think it is 12. It's a long time since we were buying child prices.

Is it not on the Thomson site under tours?

If there are four of you it usually works out cheaper to hire a taxi or mini-bus for most places in the Med.

Hi Miss Ritchie,

The child prices are normally half of the adult prices.

Hi Tenpin,

I've just had a look on my excursion guide and the age for children is 2-16.

I hope this helps.

Rachel.

Harry

For further information on the excursions available. If you go onto the Thomson Cruise website and click on itineraries then find the cruise you are taking i.e. Mediterranean Rennaisance, then click on the ports of call - this will let you know all the excursions on offer and the prices which admittedly are adults however I was told that kids are charged just over half of the adult price.

Hope this helps.

P.S. We will be getting off the cruise ship as you are getting on!! We sail from Palma on 19 June. It will be good to see our reviews as it's our first cruise too.
