Hi

My Mum and I are having a girlie cruise - Colourful Coasts 7 April 08 from Madeira - anyone else going on this one?

If so, have you been on a Thomson cruise before? We are newbys and would love any info.

Hi soapstaryellow, my daughter and I have just returned from this cruise, we had a fantastic time we have been on several thomson cruises but this was the first time on destiny and we thoroughly enjoyed it. You will both have a fantastic time, wish we were going again.

Dear Cruiseaddict

Thanks for that reassurance - having read some of the reviews, was most pleased to hear from a mother and daughter combo who enjoyed it!

Roll on!!!

Hi

Can anyone tell me, this will seem like a stupid question, but there are plug points in the cabin aren't there?

Afraid won't be able to use my straighteners, you know what like!

Thanks.

Just back from destiny. There is an 110 volt flat two pin (usa style) plug socket in your cabin. Bought a multi voltage hair straightener from argos before we went and this worked fine. But dont forget to buy a flat two pin plug adaptor.

Hi again soapstaryellow, just read your further question about the plug sockets!!! My daughter is just fanatical about her hair straighteners too, we couldnt actually use the american flat pin plug, she used to take out the plug for the television ( quite difficult to do as it was on a high shelf) but she was desperate!!! It was a standard 2 pin european plug. Hope this helps. Any more info you require just let me know.
