Deck 2 or 3 ?

I have booked a cruise for Aug and have been told I am on either deck 2 or 3 (inside). Can anyone recommend a particular cabin ? I've never been cruising before and am not sure whether I may get travel sick. Any comments would be most welcome

Hi. If you are on the Destiny make sure that you book a cabin towards the front of the ship. You will see from my comments that the cabin we had (3193) was so noisy we couldn't get any sleep. Decks 2 and 3 are much the same otherwise. The food, service and entertainment are very good -so have a great cruise.

We at first booked an inside cabin but after speaking to lots of people thought it was worth paying the extra for a porthole and i agree it definately was, as we found when we were using an inside complimentary cabin on departure day. We went on the destiny in Jan in room 2039 which was quiet. we were disappointed as we wanted floor 3 but after speaking to people on excursions about noise especially engine noise we were so lucky-so much so that we have booked in jan 2009 to go on the destiny to the caribean and paid �30 for cabin 2039.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your reply. Will bear in mind cabin 2039 and see what I can do. Can't wait as its my 1st cruise, although I have a few months to go as its not till Aug. Anyway thanks again.
