Is anyone going on Destiny on the week beginning 8th May or the week after (15th)....

I was on Destiny last year and returning with 2 friends - we are all in our late 20's early 30's and was hoping there will be plenty others around our age group to have a laugh with! :-)

Really can't wait now - 3 weeks today!

Ross

Hey!

Kids are allowed everywhere that adults are allowed, so yeah they can go along to the Captains Cocktail party - mind you - they will get orange juice instead of bubbly!

The ship has lots on offer for the kids, such as the kidsclub, but also has entertainment daily which kids and adults alike can join in.....one thing to note tho, is that parents can't leave the ship whilst the kids are at the club - just in case you were planning a trip without them.

if u want to see some pics have a look on my bebo - it has some pretty good ones around the ship - and some of the destinations to visit -

it is www.bebo.com/r00ssyb0y

if you go to Corsica, id recommend the trip to the turtle sanctuary - its not too far on coach and plenty to see (the kids will love it too!)

Cheers

hey

u will have a ball! erm if i was u id take some travel bands with you- i have been on three cruises n felt a little sea sick one dayn it felt rotten -mind u that was on the Island Escape and its itinery meant it was whizzing across the med from one port to another!

the ship is all priced in £'s so don't make the mistake I did first time and took all € cos they hammer you at the reception for the exchange rates to convert it back

dont pack too many warm things - a couple of long sleeve tops and a jumper would be more than enuff cos its really warm even at night

did u go all inclusive? thats the best option, to give u an idea we (3 of us) went all inclusive on the thomson spirit for £99 per person, the year after went on Island Escape and due to a mess up by first choice it wasnt all inclusive and the 3 of us spend £700 on our bar bill! fair enough we did hammer the cocktails but your on holiday!! we got the free all inclusive upgrade this time cos we booked early but even at £129 or whatever it was its still great value......

oh if u like excursions - do some research before hand - some are a rip off and cost loads for nothing - its sometimes better just to do your own thing at a port of call mind u this year i quite fancy the quad biking or range rover off road driving - can't remember what port that is but hope its on one of them during our 2 weeks!

will no doubt bump into you at some point - i mean 8 of you can't be too hard to miss! lol just look out for the three chipmunks

Hi Cruiseadict13

I've only been on one Island cruise and that was on the Island Escape - to be fair it was a good enough holiday, but when compared to the Thomson ones I find they don't compare.....that said, that was 3 years ago and since then both Thomson & Islands operators are now owned by the one company TUI

If its your first cruise you will love it i'm sure, but if you get the cruise bug, try Thomson or OV
