Evening wear
Do you have to wear long pants for dinner every night or only on the captains night in the restaurant? Can you wear dress shorts or would you look out of place? Thanks, regards me to you.

I don't think they would let you in the restaurant in shorts for dinner to be honest. Shorts are ok for breakfast and lunch though. I couldn't even get into breakfast in a cap sleeve tee shirt, I had to get a short sleeved tee shirt on instead.

To be honest surely wearing any type of shorts into a dining room where other guests are, would not be considered correct.
Thomson do not set the rules only sugest them,
but & it is a big but, shorts are frowned apon and I have seen them as well as jeans turned away from entering dinning rooms.
Does it really hurt just to dress nicely when perhaps eating with others.
No I don't want to go back to the old days where formal dress code was the order of the day, and enforced.
There is no restrictions apart from swimwear for the buffet at any time.
but again common decency should be the thing to consider.
