| Only 5 days to go and still no tickets. I have called operater and Thomson both say they were printed on the 30 March but they would print them again and send them first class. Still not arrived.
First time we've used Thomson, not a good start, not happy about picking up at airport at 6am and start writing out luggage labels.
Has anyone else going on the Morrish Delights this Thursday not received their tickets either?

Thats unusual for Thomson Cruise, and I can understand your concern lets hope they turn up on Monday.
Just let me say that we have pickedl up ticket for a last minute cruise (booked 4days before we sailed) at the Airport, and it was as the lady said, there waiting for us. so that should be ok, providing thats what you have been told.
Hope all goes well and don't let it spoil your cruise.

| We still havent received our tickets yet for the same cruise. When i phoned thomson i was told to wait till this coming tuesday, and if the tickets still hadnt arrived to phone them back to arrange airport collection. Not very happy about this either, the wifes panicking about it too. So we hope to see u there!!!

| Thomson are normally spot on, we had our tickets three weeks prior to our holidays. If they haven't come by 9am on Monday, phone them and ask for them to be delivered by same day

| Just thought you may want update, just called Cruise Deals to pay for the next cruise, 3 three day taster on the Carnival Spendour (not tried Carnival before) from Dover to Amsterdam in July, and was told the tickets were reprinted on Thursday so leave it until Monday and call back then if they have not arrived.
We are travelling with 6 cruise virgins so if you see us at Gatwick writing out luggage labels at 7 in the morning, it will be us.
I shall certainly need the All Inclusive drink when I get aboard.

| We are due to travel on the Spirit this Friday and have no tickets. Have been given a voucher to collect at the airport. I am a first time cruiser so I hope I do not miss any information that might have been useful. Remember any Thomson cruises leaving after 1st May now have 25kg hold baggage allowance.

Where did you find out that the hold allowance will be 25 Kilos, does that incude the 1st May. Hope so, might be able to take more shoes!!!

| Hi luvcruising, It's in the terms and conditions of the latest 08-09 brochure and also had my Thomas Cook travel agent phone to confirm this for me. I have a voucher to collect my tickets at the airport and this has been written on to confirm this. ( I didn't want to get to check-in and pay a fortune in excess baggage!)

| yes also going on the destiny thursday and still havent got the tickets told the same thing, but fingers crossed they should arrive in time

| we are on the spirit on the 2nd and still havent received tickets our travel agent told us that the printing machine had broken down!!!!! she was told the tickets had been sent by first class on thursday. this is the second time its happened to me with thomsons and fortunately they did arrive three or four days before dept. so im keeping fingers crossed. will certainly check about luggage allowance,

| ref luggage allowance thomsons say that you are allowed 25kgs pp, but this is split as 20kgs for the hold and the remaining 5kgs as cabin luggage however premier passengers are allowed an extra 5kgs. a lot of travel companies have reduced their allowance to 15kgs hold luggage, you can however pay £15 per person to increase to 20kgs. methinks a cunning scheme to extract more money from us.

| I haven't upgraded to premier, the luggage allowance for all cruise passengers is now 30kg - 25 in hold and 5 had luggage. My travel agent confirmed this on the phone to Thomson customer services, this is also printed in the terms and conditions in the latest brochure. Can't wait until Friday!!!!!!!

| anyone received their tickets yet from thomsons, they havent arrived at my travel agent(thomsons), i dont know why they cant be honest and say they are not issuing them. cannot believe they are lost again. we go on friday from stanstead, see you all in the ticket queue.!!!

| We go on Thursday and still no tickets. Called Thomson and they repeated that there was a problem with their ticket machine. Considering our tickets were printed on the 30th March can't understand why this wasn't sorted before now. Anyway its now been arrange for me to collect tickets at Gatwick.
I hope this is the only hiccup, but I won't let it spoil my holiday.
Regarding luggage I checked with Thomson today and they confirmed that its only 20 kilos hold luggage and 5 kilos hand luggage unless you have upgraded to Premier.

i am going on the 16th and i received my tickets yesterday.
On the ticket it has baggage allowance 25kgs, i don't know if this is with your hand luggage or not. It never used to be. cheers.

im going on destiny on the 8th and just checked with my thomsons branch now and they have said the tickets arrived and can be collected anytime..... in saying that the manager I spoke to last week about them said not to worry, even if they didnt arrive, you don't really need them to check in at the airport as all your details are on their system....still its nice to get a ticket and your pre-printed luggage tags for your cases before getting to the check in desk....

| Still no tickets.....called Thomson yesterday..waiting on hold for 40 mins. Anyway, they said that we would be able to collect them from the airport. iv just got visions of not being able to go, or somethin. is it true that u dont really need the tickets because theyve got all the information on computer???

Seems we are lucky, we are sailing on the Spirit on the 9th May and received our tickets yesterday. The stated luggage allowance is definitely 25 kgs on the tickets where it used to state 20 kgs, so I am sure that is the hold allowance and not hand luggage.
