Hi Tony,
I don't think you are allowed an iron or kettle in the cabin - check in the brochure. They do offer a laundry/pressing service for a small charge though.
Rachel.

Hi Tony,
By rights you are not allowed 'any' electrical items for use in your cabin, this is due to fire regulations.
Most lightly creased clothes can be hung in the bath room after your shower this will remove most creases, there is also an ironing room I think on deck three, or you can also have them ironed by the crew at a very small charge.
Top tip, if you roll dresses and skirts when packing they will receive less creasing.

Tony,
I refer to page 205 of this years 2008 brochure (to April)
I Quote
'Cabin Safety,,,,, It is a regulation on all our ships that kettles and irons are not permitted in cabins due to fire risk'
End Quote.
When useing Thomson ships we take insulated mugs with us which we fill at the buffet, minutes from your cabin.
I will delete any post that encourage illegal use of these items
